Van Dijke’s Peeling Machine: for optimal peeling results! Van Dijke has developed a peeling machine for peeling bulbous and tuberous crops.
How does it work?
The machine consists of a peeling rollerbed, with different types of rollers with bronze bearing housings, combined with adjustable spring pressure for optimal peeling results! In addition, the machine is equipped with a protective cover, adjustable spray system and, if desired, a drip system to keep the peeling rollers clean. As an extra option, an adjustable belt can be fitted to the peeling machine. This allows bulbs that are already sufficiently peeled at the start of the peeling bed to be removed from the roller bed. Another addition is a mobile waste removal belt. This belt ensures the direct removal of foliage and root residues from under the peeling machine. In addition, the machine is equipped with a stroke distribution of the peeling rollers. When the stroke adjustment is activated, the rollers rotate further to the left than to the right. This allows the machine to pull the waste through the bed for a cleaner result.
Choice of three types of peeling beds:
- Steel/rubber: universal peeling bed
- Rubber/rubber: for use with difficult-to-peel products such as gladioli
- Steel/rubber with thin rollers: for use with tulips
