van Dijke Float Sink Separator UDZ
Van Dijke’s Float Sink Separator UDZ is a patented solution for the efficient separation of plastics from each other and from other materials. The machine has been specially developed for applications within the recycling industry and guarantees reliable and continuous separation based on density.
The Float Sink Separator UDZ is manufactured from high-quality stainless steel or galvanised and powder-coated steel, ensuring a long service life and minimal maintenance requirements, even in demanding environments.
Working of the Float Sink Separator
The unit is equipped with augers or a propulsion drive in combination with two conveyor belts. The unsorted material is introduced centrally into the machine.
Heavier materials sink to the bottom and are transported by the augers to the discharge belt for heavy fractions. Lighter materials float and are carried with the water flow towards the discharge belt for light fractions.
Thanks to this process, the Float Sink Separator UDZ is ideal for integration into complete product and separation lines.
